Biodiversity is defined as the ecosystem and the diversity of everything in it. Issues that can be seen in biodiversity can relate to issues that threaten cultural diversity. Biodiversity provides ecosystem goods. Limit those goods and a community loses the resources it once had. Therefore the government should monitor the preservation of land and agriculture so that many cultures do not lose the resources they depend on.
Because biodiversity provides ecosystem goods, eliminating resources such as ingredients for the foods of various culture will result in loss of diversity. Also, people depend on their environment for food. Australia's Government's cultural diversity programs help the nation as a community. They address issues through government by helping to settle disputes over investments and policies. The government is inclusive of different cultures and their circumstances. This should be the way all governments protect diversity, by being inclusive and considering cultures and their individual needs.
Too much power by the government can however be a threat. The ethosphere may be threatened and the government can develop too much control over its people and how they practice their beliefs. It is important for communities to be inclusive of diverse people so that disputes may be settled without formal policies or government interference. The government should simply be of assistance when dispute are hard to settle and to oversee fir jurisdiction.
